MY PHILOSOPHY
Early in my life, my mother instilled in me two powerful messages: that people do the best they can in any given moment and that there are underlying reasons behind their behaviors. These messages sparked my interest in psychodynamic work, leading me to believe that understanding our unconscious patterns brings clarity to our decisions, while letting go of unhelpful patterns fosters autonomy in our lives.

MY FRAMEWORK
With a diverse background and a deep commitment to personal growth and development, I’ve cultivated a coaching approach that combines three powerful methodologies.
At the heart of my coaching practice lies a vivid combination of three approaches:
- Through Transactional Analysis, I help my clients gain valuable insights into their interactions, behaviours, and communication patterns. By understanding these dynamics, we can address underlying challenges and foster healthier relationships, both personally and professionally.
- Mindfulness and compassion form the bedrock of my coaching philosophy. By encouraging a present-moment awareness and cultivating self-compassion, I support my clients in developing emotional intelligence, resilience, and a positive outlook on life’s challenges.
- I recognize the profound connection between mind and body. I invite clients to explore the body-experience approach, which emphasizes the significance of somatic awareness in personal growth and transformation. By tapping into the body’s wisdom, we can create sustainable and holistic change.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Silvia Gallová is an internationally recognized coaching expert and founder of Via Institute. As a coach, she is accredited at the Master (MCC) level by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and at the Senior Practitioner level by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and Accredited Supervisor (EMCC).
Her approach integrates Transactional Analysis, Mindfulness- and Compassion- approach and elements from Body-Oriented Psychotherapy. When working with organizations, she uses her knowledge of Organizational Transactional Analysis and Systems Thinking and focuses on recognizing unconscious patterns in organizations and teams and transforming them into new, more effective strategies.
Silvia is ICF certified coach on Master level, with more than 3 000 hours of coaching experience and 300+ hours of coaching-specific education and 450+ hours of training in Transactional Analysis.
As a registered coach-mentor and coach supervisor, she helps other coaches to improve their coaching performance.
She holds master’s degree in Journalism, post gradual Diploma in International Law & International Relations, Diploma in Business Coaching, Diploma in Coaching Supervision, Diploma in Team Coaching and a certification in Integrative Coaching. She is certified trainer and facilitator. She is also trained in the fields of Transactional Analysis, Non-Violent Communication, Motivational Interviewing, Agile Leadership, Community Building and Trauma Psychotherapy (biodynamic approach).
She is active in professional coaching organizations. Silvia served a Council Member of European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Czechia & Slovakia and was responsible for the area of quality standards and ethics (2021-2024). Within Slovak Association of Coaching (SAKO), she is a member of Accreditation and Certification Committee. Within International Coach Federation Slovak Chapter she is a member of Senior Advisory Group and is actively involved in ICF International expert working groups.
She works in Slovak and English language accross EU.
